Time: Doors open at 6:00 pm, Program starts at 6:30 pm
Location: Buck Meadow Recreation Area Clubhouse, 30 NH-101A, Amherst, NH

Special Guests:
We’re honored to welcome Christine Wellington and Eva Castillo of the New Hampshire Immigrant Rights Network (NHIRN). Both are longtime advocates for immigrant justice, fair housing, and community equity in New Hampshire:

  • Christine Wellington, J.D., formerly Co-Director of the Fair Housing Project at New Hampshire Legal Assistance, has deep roots in housing law and immigrant rights advocacy. She served on the NH Human Rights Commission and continues active involvement with NHIRN and fair housing initiatives.
  • Eva Castillo (sometimes listed as Eva Castillo-Turgeon), representing the NH Alliance for Immigrants and Refugees, brings powerful leadership in multilingual community outreach and immigrant support networks across the state.

What to Expect:
A deeper conversation on the current challenges facing immigrant communities in New Hampshire — including stepped-up ICE enforcement, legal uncertainties, community integration, fair housing, and access to essential services. Christine and Eva will share on-the-ground perspectives about how federal and state immigration activity is affecting families right here in New Hampshire, and what local communities can do to respond. Their insights will help shape our legislative priorities and guide our outreach strategies.
