January Meeting: Treasurer Election and Monthly Speaker Series— Buck Meadow Clubhouse

Due to water damage in the basement of the Amherst Town Library, the January meeting will take place at the Buck Meadow clubhouse located at 30 Rte 101A in Amherst. Venues for future events will be announced on a floating basis. We hope to return to the library as soon as possible.

Starting at 5:00 pm: This month’s meeting will include an official caucus of the Amherst Democratic Town Committee–which includes all registered Democrats residing in Amherst–in order to elect a new treasurer.

At 6:00 pm — Speaker Series: What Really Shapes State Elections? Tom Silvia will give a data-driven presentation that examines the voter trends influencing state-level elections. Tom will analyze voter registration trends, down-ballot roll-off, and demographic shifts, and discuss how these factors affect turnout and outcomes over time–and how campaigns can meaningfully influence them.
