Support Shannon Chandley For State Senate!

Shannon Chandley currently serves the Town of Amherst in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. In this role, she has repeatedly demonstrated that she is pragmatic and dedicated to Amherst and the State of New Hampshire. Now she is running for the New Hampshire Senate, District 11, serving Amherst, Milford, Merrimack and Wilton.

Shannon and her husband of over 30 years, Tom Silvia, has lived in Amherst for nearly two decades, raising four children here.  Shannon has served three terms in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, previously serving as chair of the Committee on Resources, Recreation and Development. She is currently the ranking Democrat on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee.

In addition to her work in the New Hampshire State House, Shannon is also a director on the board of the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence as well as a member of the University of Rhode Island College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Advisory Council. Shannon is an active member of the Amherst Junior Women’s Club, the Souhegan Valley Quilters Guild and the Villagers Chapter of Questers. She is a past member of the Amherst Town Ways and Means Committee, the Amherst PTA and the Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains. She is the former chair and past member of the SHARE Outreach, Inc. Board of Directors.
