Keene Activist Training (Hosted by Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund)

Wilton Peace Action is coordinating bus transportation to the 350.org People’s Climate Mobilization, in Washington, DC, 29-April-2017. This is a march about Climate, Justice and Jobs. At the end of Trump’s first 100 days in office, the event is intended to a unifying gathering to stand up for communities and climate. The capital march route and gathering locations are still being finalized.
Join your neighbors for a non-Partisan Pot Luck at SHS Cafeteria. Everyone is encouraged to to join us for a pot luck to learn more about our town government, including the different elected positions and the responsibilities for each. We will discuss the various volunteer opportunities in town for those who would like to start being more involved. The Town Administrator, James O’Mara, will be the primary speaker, but we are in the process of inviting others to speak as well.
On Wednesday, February 22, the Milford Democrats will hold a potluck dinner with Concord State Representative Katherine Rogers as the featured speaker. She will address gun safety. Rep. Rogers is currently serving her sixth term in the NH Legislature and she has recently sponsored a bill requiring background checks for commercial firearms sales. She serves on the House Finance Committee and is a practicing attorney.
